Adnan is an award-nominated corporate communications, corporate affairs and analyst relations professional, with prior expertise in publishing and journalism. Based in Toronto, he currently oversees global corporate communications at Hansen Technologies. In his role, he is responsible for global communications strategy and C-Suite advisory, planning, media relations, analyst relations, internal communications and employee engagement, social media content, executive communications, editorial direction, budgeting and community outreach for the company worldwide. 

Before joining Hansen Technologies, Adnan worked with FleishmanHillard and Golin in the United Arab Emirates, leading regional communications initiatives and corporate profiling for brands as diverse as Dell Technologies, EMC, Oracle, British Telecom, FireEye, Bosch, BlackBerry Mobile, Seagate, Boehringer Ingelheim, Bayer, Novartis, AstraZeneca, Merck Sharp & Dohme, INSEAD and FedEx. 

Adnan initially started his career in Dubai at Motivate Publishing, creating copy and supervising the design of books for a client portfolio spanning the Prime Minister’s Office, the Government of Dubai Media Office, the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, ADCO, Jaguar Land Rover and the Jumeirah Group. 

At the industry level, Adnan has been shortlisted for brand campaigns at the 2018 and 2019 PRCA Middle East and North Africa Awards. He is an opinion contributor for Forbes, The European Business Review, Marketing Dive, Communicate and Arabian Business, and has also been featured in The Toronto Star and The National. Adnan is a graduate of the University of Toronto’s History and CCIT (Communications, Culture, Information & Technology) programs.
