With her bold personality and innovative thinking, Michelle Dias has led successful social media and public relations campaigns for leading brands and events, such as GoodLife Fitness, Loblaw Companies Ltd., and the 2015 Toronto Pan Am Games.  She extends her dynamic leadership as President of the CPRS Toronto Chapter and through teaching at the College-level.

Michelle is currently a Senior Manager with the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), overseeing public relations and corporate communications efforts for hotels across the company’s Americas portfolio. This includes developing and executing strategic plans, managing agencies and media relations. Within this role, Michelle navigates a matrix-global organization and travels frequently across Canada and the US.

Michelle teaches Digital Marketing at Seneca College and Marketing Communications at Sheridan College within the schools’ Post-Graduate Certificate programs. As a hands-on Professor, Michelle brings real-life case studies to the classroom and enhances learning through an interpersonal teaching style.

Michelle believes that authentic storytelling is a marketer’s best tool for consumer awareness and engagement. In 2016, Michelle was named PR in Canada’s Top 30 Under 30 and received a 2017 CPRS Merit Award for IHG’s Sleep Campaign for the Holiday Inn Express brand. Most recently Michelle received the ‘Mentor of the Year – 2020’ from CPRS Toronto.
