MARKET PROFILE

If you need to market to decision-makers in the communications field, you need to market to CPRS Toronto. There are both Sponsorship and Advertising Opportunities available through CPRS (Toronto).

MEMBERSHIP PROFILE

CPRS Toronto boasts an extremely targeted and influential membership. Senior communicators gravitate toward CPRS Toronto. CPRS (Toronto) is the largest national Canadian Public Relations Society with more than 325 members in the Toronto area. Members represent senior PR and Communications practitioners in the private, public, not-for-profit and non-profit sectors and include PR Consultants and Agencies. CPRS (Toronto) also includes over 300 student members who are enrolled in post-secondary PR programs recognized by the Society.

Twenty-eight percent of our members are executives in their organizations (VP and above). A further 41 percent fill senior positions. Intermediate communicators, which, by the way, include the title 'manager', account for a further 15 percent of our membership.

DIVERSE INDUSTRY REPRESENTATION

Our members work in almost every industry sector. The chart below illustrates our diverse industry representation. It does not include our many members who work in communications agencies.

INDUSTRY REPRESENTATION

Over one third of our members work in agencies. We have senior representation from every major agency in Toronto. Communicators in agencies purchase services and products for to a wealth of clients in every sector. They have solid budgets and are committed to producing quality communications.

LONG-TERM COMMITMENT

Our members tend to stay with CPRS for the long-term. About one-third of our members have achieved the APR designation, illustrating their commitment to excellence as well as a solid commitment to CPRS.

BUDGETARY DISCRETION

Many of Toronto's budgetary decision-makers in communications belong to CPRS. These largely senior practitioners hire staff, contract suppliers and have direct contact with the movers and shakers in every sector of our economy.
