| Lawrence Stevenson has a varied career in the Public Relations Industry. Prior to joining Torchia Communications, Lawrence was in Director of Corporate Communications for a clinical research company and has previously worked for a leading Canadian charity, as well as a leading-edge provincial health services research organization. His experience is in strategic communication, media relations, government relations, stakeholder development, crisis communications and issues management.
As Senior Account Director at Torchia Communications, Lawrence provides strategic communications and public relations counsel to clients in a number of industries, including manufacturing, consumer products, accounting, among many others.
Lawrence is an accredited member of the Canadian Public Relations Society achieving the distinction in 2006. He has served as a volunteer board member for various arts and sporting organizations in Toronto.
Lawrence joined the Board of CPRS (Toronto) in 2006 as Treasurer. Currently, Lawrence is the President of CPRS (Toronto), a position that he has held since April 2007.
