Kristen Marano

Kristen Marano is a third-year public relations student in the advanced diploma program at Humber Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning.

An active volunteer in the industry and a determination to learn as much as possible about public relations, Kristen enters her third year as a member of the CPRS student steering committee and is currently interning at Torchia Communications, a public relations agency in downtown Toronto.

Kristen strives to apply her skills and strengthen her public relations knowledge by fulfilling various volunteer positions. In 2007, Kristen held the position of vice chair of the Humber Student Art Show 2007 as part of the executive committee, volunteered as an administrative assistant in the mayoral election campaign, and serves as the communications coordinator with Community Education Services Canada (CES), a non-profit organization dedicated to providing access to education for orphans and HIV/Aids affected children living in Kenya.
