Matt Drennan-Scace
Media & Communications Coordinator
Cancer Care Ontario



For the past two years, Matt Drennan-Scace has worked for The Media Network for a Smoke-Free Ontario, housed at Cancer Care Ontario, as Media and Communications Coordinator. The Media Network supports Ontario's public health system as well as cancer agencies and various tobacco control organizations across the province with public relations training and support.

Prior to joining The Media Network, Matt held communications positions for Ford of Canada, Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment Ltd., Youth Assisting Youth and Toronto City Councillor Bill Saundercook, Ward 13. Matt received an Honours Bachelor of Arts in History, with a minor in Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University, as well as a postgraduate certificate in Public Relations, with distinction, from Humber College.

Matt has volunteered with CPRS (Toronto) since 2004 and is currently serving his third year on the board. He is in his first year as Treasurer after two years holding the Online Communications portfolio. At the 2005 ACE Awards, Matt was recognized as CPRS (Toronto)'s Volunteer of the Year.
