Carol J. Panasiuk, APR


Carol Panasiuk joined Cohn & Wolfe in November 1989 as a senior manager responsible for the management of corporate and marketing communications programs for a wide range of companies. Previously, Carol worked at parent company, Burson-Marsteller for ten years.

As General Manager for Cohn & Wolfe/Toronto, Carol is responsible for the financial viability of the office and for delivering high quality public relations services and counselling to clients across a wide spectrum of industries.

Carol provides strategic public relations/public affairs counsel and develops communications programs that deliver strong, measurable results for Cohn & Wolfe clients in the technology, consumer marketing, financial services, healthcare and other industry sectors. She has also worked on government relations programs and advocacy advertising, proactive media relations efforts and school programs to help clients position themselves and their products. Crisis communications, issues management and crisis preparedness planning are also part of her portfolio.

Carol has a B.A. in History from the University of Toronto’s Victoria College and a public relations degree from Humber College’s honours program. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto’s Executive MBA program (Class of ’91).

She is an accredited member of the Canadian Public Relations Society. She has served on the boards of Big Sisters of Toronto, The Planning Forum and Gilda's Club Toronto.
