Public
Relations Community to Recognize Robert Deluce of Porter Airlines
with CEO Award of Excellence in Communications

The Canadian Public Relations Society
Toronto (CPRS Toronto) will present its 17th annual CEO of the Year
Award that highlights the growing role that communications plays in
organizations across Canada. This year’s honoured recipient is
Robert Deluce, president and chief executive officer of Porter
Airlines. Regarded as one of Canada’s most knowledgeable and
respected airline owners and operators, Mr. Deluce has led Porter
since its inception three years ago as the airline redefined
short-haul air travel and became the leading regional carrier in
North America.
The spirit of the CEO Award, first created
in 1991, is to commemorate communications excellence and to advocate
that a successful CEO must be an excellent communicator who can
express a clear mission and shared values with a broad range of
stakeholders.
